Siemens Energy says to quit Russia until November

BERLIN, Aug 8 (PRIME) -- Siemens Energy plans to leave Russia by the end of the current financial year ending on November 1, the company said in a report for May–July on Monday.

"Siemens Energy started the restructuring of its business activities in Russia in the third quarter which burdened the result of GP (the gas and electric power segment) by 200 million euros, reported as strategic portfolio decisions under special items," Siemens Energy said.

The company also said that the measures were not to cause additional significant financial consequences.
